Lina Nasr El Hag Ali Social Scientist, Researcher, Theorist
“Without myths, that is, without meaning, consciousness is set adrift into terror.” Cedric Robinson (1983)

As an emerging scholar and researcher currently pursuing a PhD in Politics, my intellectual curiosity extends across various domains, including History, Sociology, the Arts and Design.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from the University of Ottawa and a Master's degree in Politics from York University in Toronto, Canada.

My doctoral project, titled 'Confronting Alienation in the Neoliberal City,' serves as a convergence point for discussions in Science and Technology Studies (STS), Politics, Sociology, and Art. Within this research, I explore the role of political imagination in delineating paths for the future. My objective is to capture the intricate dimensions of contemporary politics by exploring questions that resist easy categorization.

Always eager for collaborative endeavors, I encourage those interested in my work to connect with me through my website or Twitter.
